Malpensa airport, is about 140 km far from Turin. For that reason, if possible, it is much better to land at Torino Caselle airport. However, due to the small size of Torino Caselle airport in some cases it could be convenient to arrive to Malpensa airport and then take a bus to Turin.

Public transport inside Turin

The GTT (GRUPPO TORINESE TRASPORTI) is the local transport company that manage the urban and suburban networks.
The ordinary city ticket costs € 1,50 and it is valid for 70 minutes from when first punched (only punch the ticket once, on the first vehicle boarded) on metropolitan lines and on city rail links along GTT suburban lines. By punching the ticket a second time within the 70-minute timeframe, users can continue their journey as far as the terminus using the same vehicle.
In order to purchase a bus ticket, users may use one of the points of sale in Turin (newsagents, tobacconists, and bars that shows the GTT logo).
